In May 1961, the English edition of the "Selected Works of Mao Tse-tung: Vol. IV" was published, with French, Spanish, Russian and other editions released later. The English edition of volume I was then published in September 1964, followed by volume III in September 1965, volume II in December 1965 and volume V in September 1977.
In September 1963, China International Communications Group (CICG) was formally established.
In July 1963, the China Esperanto League held the first national Esperanto work conference in Beijing.
