Center for Asia-Pacific
The Center for Asia-Pacific, or CICG Asia-Pacific, is a media complex dedicated to international communication with a special focus on the Asia-Pacific region. It was established by integrating with the communication business of People's China and China Report, magazines launched in 1950, as well as the Japanese business operations of Beijing Review, and the Korean business operations of China Pictorial. It also serves as acting manager of the China Esperanto League.
The center publishes and distributes People's China (Japanese version), China Report (Chinese), China Report ASEAN (English), China (Korean), The UNESCO Courier (Esperanto), Young Readers (Chinese), World (Chinese) and other high-quality international journals. It also operates websites in several languages including Chinese, Japanese, English, Korean and Esperanto as well as social media accounts at home and abroad.
It produces multi-language audiovisual products, and hosts or undertakes international exchange activities involving Asia-Pacific countries and regions. The center also manages the daily operations of its overseas offices in Tokyo and Bangkok.
