At the event, CIBTC's key exhibits included the first two volumes of "Selected Readings from the Works of Xi Jinping," five volumes of "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China," "The Communist Party of China and the Great Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation in 100 Keywords," and multilingual editions of the "Keywords to Understand China" series. Also featured were around 200 titles in over 300 volumes, covering Chinese culture, economics, science and technology, literature, history, medicine, and publications for children.
CIBTC also organized multiple business events, including presentations of select titles, new book launches, and industry seminars for Chinese and American publishing professionals. The North American launch of the "Chinese Philosophy and Social Sciences Independent Knowledge System Series" was held at the exhibition venue.

Multiple Chinese publishing houses sealed copyright cooperation deals with institutions such as Dixie W Publishing Corporation, Cedic International Inc., and the U.S. division of Macmillan Publishers during the exhibition.
The booth featured a themed zone named "Panda Island," allowing visitors to have hands-on cultural experiences including Chinese calligraphy and rubbing, and to learn about Chinese culture. Its various panda-themed merchandise also became popular with visitors and passersby alike.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, the Chinese publishers delegation visited the Chinese Consulate-General in Chicago and the East Asian Collection of the University of Chicago Library. Meanwhile, a forum on Chinese publications' global outreach was held alongside the inauguration ceremony for the International Publishing Center (Chicago) of Beijing Language and Culture University Press. Participants exchanged insights over the overseas distribution of Chinese books and periodicals, as well as the spread of Chinese culture across North America.
The ALA Annual Conference & Exhibition drew librarians, educators, authors, book distributors, equipment suppliers, and technology service providers from across the globe. Participants displayed newly released publications, library-specific facilities and cutting-edge technologies while exploring pressing challenges and growth opportunities facing global library communities.
