CICG to attend 32nd Beijing International Book Fair
China International Communications Group (CICG) will attend the 32nd Beijing International Book Fair at the China National Convention Center in Beijing from Wednesday to Sunday.
Over 1,000 titles from CICG will be on exhibit. More than 70% of these books are in foreign languages such as English, French, Spanish, German, Russian, Portuguese, Japanese, Arabic, and Korean.
During the five-day fair, CICG will host nearly 90 events, including book launches, copyright signing ceremonies, and dialogues. Over 40 international guests, as well as executives from China's leading publishing groups, are expected to attend.

Sinolingua Press will celebrate its 40th anniversary with the launch of a book by Siddharth Chatterjee, former U.N. resident coordinator in China, as well as new initiatives in Chinese language education, digital content development, and international cooperation.

Foreign Languages Press will hold an award ceremony for the "Illustrating China" international artwork competition, and showcase winning works inspired by Chinese culture.

China Pictorial Press will launch the bilingual guide to the UNESCO-listed heritage site, Beijing Central Axis, and sign overseas rights agreements for the book.

New Star Press will host an event marking the 20th anniversary of its "Midnight Library" collections and promote Chinese mystery and crime fiction to international publishers.

The New World Press will kick off the English-edition project of a book on China's rare animals, alongside a copyright signing ceremony.


Blossom Press will present the achievements of the China-Latin America Ambassadors' Recommended Reading Program on its first anniversary and discuss future cooperation. The publishing house will also launch the China-Latin America Classics Translation Project and showcase its Spanish-language translated works, "New Panda Series."

In addition, publishing house presidents, editors-in-chief, and experts and scholars will gather for the second symposium on international communication to discuss trends and best practices in global publishing.
