CICG president addresses forum on promoting Chinese governance

A forum on theoretical innovations and major practices in China's governance was held in Beijing on Thursday, bringing together about 160 diplomats, scholars, and media representatives from more than 30 countries.

Chang Bo, president of China International Communications Group (CICG), delivered a speech at the event, and said that CICG will deepen its cooperation and exchange with media, think tanks, and universities at home and abroad. 

He said CICG will work to better present China's stories in a more vivid and compelling way, highlighting the ideas and values behind them, so that the country's theoretical innovations and major governance practices can reach and benefit a global audience.

The forum was co-hosted by the Institute of Party History and Literature of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Xinhua News Agency. Discussions focused on topics including advancing Chinese modernization through high-quality development, promoting socialist culture with Chinese characteristics, and building a more fair and equitable global system of governance.
