Chang said that it is of great significance to explore the in-depth integration of revolutionary traditions and heritage with nationwide reading in Jiangxi province, an old revolutionary base, especially in 2026 when China issued its first administrative regulation specifically dedicated to nationwide reading.

Chang emphasized that it is essential to inherit revolutionary traditions and heritage by integrating the revolutionary spirit into publishing, communication, and nationwide reading practices. He called for promoting the revolutionary spirit by enriching reading practices through innovation while upholding fundamental principles. He also suggested spreading the revolutionary culture by using new technologies such as artificial intelligence to enhance the appeal of communication and building a society-wide framework for its promotion.

Chang said that CICG has been devoted to publishing high-quality books for the people and producing high-quality international communication content for the country. Focusing on major revolutionary themes such as the Long March, CICG has launched high-quality multilingual books, continuously pushing for wider overseas reach of the revolutionary culture. CICG will hold nearly 100 promotional events under the national reading week and a large-scale interview series retracing the Long March to tell China's stories in the new era well.

Chang concluded his speech by saying that CICG is willing to work with all sectors to turn rich revolutionary resources into effective international communication. This includes jointly planning revolutionary-themed books, conducting research on themed reading, and building an international communication platform, in order to better promote revolutionary classics and themed publications globally.
