China-Kazakhstan youth cultural exchange held in Beijing

CICG, March 18, 2026

A cultural exchange event was held in Beijing on March 14, bringing together young people from China and Kazakhstan to celebrate cultural ties and friendship.

The event was supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in China and jointly organized by the Kazakhstan Cultural Center in Beijing and the Center for International Cultural Communication under China International Communications Group.

The year 2026 marks the 34th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Kazakhstan. The exchange event brought together the cultural values of the Chinese Spring Festival and Kazakhstan's Nauryz, two traditional holidays widely celebrated in their respective countries and associated with renewal, reunion, and the arrival of spring.

Through activities such as an art exhibition, cultural performances, collaborative painting, and interactive cultural experiences, it created a lively platform for young people from both countries to connect and engage with one another.
