Yu Yunquan, vice president of China International Communications Group (CICG), noted that media organizations in China and Russia serve as important links and communication bridges between the two countries and hold significant influence in the international communication landscape. Media professionals from both countries should uphold a strong sense of responsibility and deliver objective, fair, and professional reporting. Yu said the media professionals should tell vivid stories of China-Russia cooperation and champion multilateralism, while voicing clear positions on issues concerning global peace and stability. In doing so, they can contribute wisdom and strength to the reform and improvement of the global governance system, the CICG vice president said.

Sun Zhuangzhi, director of the Institute of Russian, Eastern European & Central Asian Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said the two countries enjoy several key advantages for cooperation, including strategic guidance from the two heads of state, the rising international standing of both countries amid changes in the global landscape, growing momentum for high-quality development through mutually beneficial cooperation, and expanding people-to-people exchanges that strengthen the social foundation for long-term friendship.

Chang Xuhong, minister counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Russia, noted that China's "two sessions" reviewed the draft outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan, which charts the direction for the country's reform and development over the next five years. This year also marks the 30th anniversary of the China-Russia strategic partnership of coordination. Looking back over the past three decades, she said China-Russia relations have remained stable, solid, and sustainable, and are now entering a new phase of development.

Andrey Denisov, first deputy chair of Russia's Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs and former Russian ambassador to China, said China's "two sessions" provide an important window into the country's policy priorities and development plans, providing a valuable sense of certainty at a time of global uncertainty.

Dmitry Novikov, first deputy chairman of Russia's State Duma Committee on International Affairs, said China has shown strategic confidence in navigating global uncertainty, relying on its institutional strengths and a development strategy focused on stability and high-quality growth. This, he said, not only supports China's national rejuvenation but also offers useful experience for Russia.

Galina Kulikova, first deputy chairperson of the Russia-China Friendship Association, said China is advancing new productive forces such as artificial intelligence, quantum technology, and 6G while pursuing both greater self-reliance and broader openness, creating new opportunities for global cooperation. She said that Russia and China should deepen cooperation not only in traditional trade but also in emerging sectors driven by these new productive forces, and explore pathways for high-quality development suited to both countries.

Yuri Tavrovsky, head of the Expert Council of the Russian-Chinese Committee for Friendship, Peace and Development, said that a series of global challenges in recent years have brought dramatic changes to the international situation, and the world urgently needs a stabilizing force. As major countries with strong national capabilities, rich governance experience, and a responsible approach to international affairs, Russia and China are well positioned to play this role. He noted that China-Russia friendship has yielded fruitful results over the years and that the two countries will continue working together to address future global challenges.
