China International Communications Group (CICG) is sending 54 journalists to provide on-site coverage of the "two sessions," China's annual sessions of its top legislature and political advisory body.

The 54 journalists are from China Internet Information Center, the Center for the Americas, the Center for Europe and Africa, the Center for Europe and Asia, and the Center for Asia-Pacific.

The fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress and the fourth session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference will kick off on March 5 and March 4, respectively.

More than 3,000 journalists, including over 1,000 from China's Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, as well as foreign reporters, have registered to cover the "two sessions" this year.

A press center for the "two sessions" opened on Friday at the Media Center Hotel in Beijing.
