CICG holds dialogue on building China-Brunei community with a shared future
The "Forward Together" Dialogue on Building Brunei-China Community with a Shared Future was held in Brunei on Feb. 7, bringing together about 150 experts and scholars from the two countries.

At the dialogue, Yu Yunquan, vice president of China International Communications Group (CICG), said that the agreement on building a China-Brunei community with a shared future in 2025 was a major political consensus between the two sides.
He said that CICG looks forward to deepening cooperation with its Bruneian counterparts, building platforms for exchange, telling warm and inspiring stories of friendship, establishing networks for knowledge sharing, and expanding more diverse people-to-people exchanges.

During the thematic discussion session, experts and scholars from the two countries engaged in discussions on ways to build a better future for sustainable development and to work together for an inclusive and cooperative Asia.
Held on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Brunei in 2026, the dialogue aims to deepen strategic mutual trust, build consensus on cooperation, and inject intellectual momentum and practical solutions into the building of a closer China-Brunei community with a shared future, according to the organizers.
