Report on China's language services unveiled in Beijing
A launch event for the "Annual Report on the Development of Language Services in China (2025)" was held in Beijing on Monday, along with a seminar on the report.
The report covers the overall landscape of the language services industry, specific segments, technological applications, regional characteristics, and international comparisons. It provides an overview of the status and trends of China's language services industry from 2024 to 2025.

At the event, Xie Gang, vice president of CICG, said that as the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030) unfolds, language services must continue to integrate with China's national strategies, and bring innovative vitality to international communication and cultural trade.
He added that CICG will continue to uphold openness and cooperation, and turn the language services industry into a bridge for mutual learning among civilizations and a foundation for economic and trade exchanges.

The event was hosted by China International Book Trading Corporation under China International Communications Group (CICG).
