Yu Yingfu, vice president of China International Communications Group (CICG), delivered remarks at the forum. He noted that amid accelerating global changes unseen in a century and a complex international landscape marked by turbulence and uncertainty, China proposed the Global Governance Initiative from the perspective of a shared future for humanity, charting a clear course toward a more just and equitable global governance system.
He described the book as a compelling response to global challenges and international concerns, one that reflects China's sense of responsibility and serves as a governance blueprint outlining practical pathways and helping build broad global consensus. Yu added that CICG has long been engaged in publishing, think tank research, international communication, and people-to-people exchanges, and remains committed to promoting exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations. CICG will continue to publish high-quality works to help the world better understand China, he said.
