CICG president meets UN resident coordinator in China

Chang Bo, president of China International Communications Group (CICG), met with Siddharth Chatterjee, U.N. resident coordinator in China, in Beijing on Friday.

Chang said that CICG has conducted extensive cooperation with the U.N. system in recent years, covering forums, publishing, and media coverage. He called for enhanced communication, and deeper collaboration with agencies including the Food and Agriculture Organization, the United Nations Development Programme, and the United Nations Children's Fund. Chang confirmed that CICG will publish the Chinese edition of a book authored by Chatterjee.

Chatterjee spoke highly of CICG's role in international communication and people-to-people exchanges. He said the U.N system in China is ready to advance practical cooperation with CICG in event organization and book publishing to further share China's experience and perspectives.
