CICG signs cooperation agreement with China Railway Group Limited

On Dec. 11, China International Communications Group (CICG) and China Railway Group Limited (CREC) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. Under the agreement, the two organizations will carry out comprehensive and in-depth cooperation in areas including jointly producing international communication content, building international communication platforms, and strengthening international communication capacity.

Chang Bo, president of CICG, and Chen Wenjian, Party secretary and chairman of CREC, attended the signing ceremony. Yu Yingfu, vice president of CICG, and Wang Shiqi, deputy Party secretary and executive director of CREC, signed the agreement. Also present at the event were Chen Shi, deputy editor-in-chief of CICG and director of the China International Publishing Center, and other representatives.

Chang noted that the agreement marks a continuation and expansion of long-standing cooperation between CICG and CREC in international communication. He said since 2020, the two sides have carried out fruitful collaborations in key areas such as overseas book distribution, multilingual platforms, people-to-people exchanges, and promotional content production. 

Looking ahead, CICG will continue to deepen cooperation with CREC by telling the story of the company's international development in a more systematic and compelling manner, he said. The two organizations will also explore cooperation in areas such as reading initiatives and expanding overseas business, while jointly advancing innovation in international communication.

Chen expressed his appreciation for CICG's long-standing trust and support, and briefly introduced CREC's development history and overseas operations. He said over the past five years, cooperation between the two organizations has delivered solid results, including improvements in brand visibility, communication channels, and international outreach for key projects. 

Chen said CREC will further deepen cooperation with CICG in areas such as resource integration, platform sharing, and content innovation, so as to achieve mutual benefits and strengthen international communication.
