Chang underscored the profound and long-standing friendship between the two nations, where the concept "Thailand and China are as close as one family" is deeply rooted. He said that this year marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries, and the recent summit between the nations’ leaders carried forward the friendship and ushered in a new chapter for building a China-Thailand community with a shared future.

He added that CICG is willing to strengthen cooperation with Thai institutions to promote the global dissemination of important writings of China, translate more works reflecting China's contemporary development, and foster closer people-to-people bonds.

The former Thai deputy PM said that the Thai king's recent visit to China would elevate bilateral relations to a new stage. He affirmed the Thai-Chinese Cultural Promotion Committee is committed to working with CICG to advance cultural and youth exchanges and mutual learning in governance, thereby contributing to bilateral ties.
