Yu Yingfu, vice president of China International Communications Group (CICG), said that formulating and implementing five-year plans has been a key experience China gained during its modernization.
He said the recommendations for formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan outline a blueprint for China's development over the next five years and beyond, and the plan reflects China's vision of cooperation and shared benefits with the world, which will create broad opportunities for countries including Thailand.
Looking ahead, Yu called on both countries to leverage innovation to foster new drivers of industrial cooperation, advance green transition for sustainable development, and solidify the foundation for building a China-Thailand community with a shared future. CICG is ready to work with all parties to strengthen practical cooperation across all sectors, he added.

Phinij Jarusombat, former deputy prime minister of Thailand, said China achieved major progress during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), particularly in scientific innovation, green growth, and livelihood improvement.
China's modernization path, he noted, offers valuable lessons for developing countries. In the next five years, he said, Thailand and China will find even greater room for cooperation in areas such as green development, advanced manufacturing, and the digital economy.
With a long history of partnership, the two sides should continue advancing a community with a shared future and contribute more to regional peace and development, the former deputy prime minister said.
During a roundtable on China–Thailand high-quality development and national modernization, experts and representatives from business associations from both countries held in-depth discussions on topics including national modernization and cooperation on industrial and supply chains.
At the event, the China Center for Asia-Pacific under CICG presented nearly 60 China-themed books published by CICG affiliate Foreign Languages Press to the National Assembly of Thailand.
The Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies (ACCWS) under CICG also signed an agreement with Asia-Pacific Think Tank in Thailand on the Thai-language translation and publication of "Keywords to Understand China: Chinese Modernization."
The China Center for Asia-Pacific, the ACCWS, and Foreign Languages Press under CICG were among the event organizers.
