2025 Chinese Enterprise Global Image Summit held in Hefei
The 2025 Chinese Enterprise Global Image Summit was held Sunday in Hefei, Anhui province. Centered on the theme "Leading with Technology, Shaping an Intelligent Future," the event brought together more than 300 guests from government departments, enterprises, academia, business associations, and foreign embassies.
Participants explored how Chinese enterprises can strengthen their global credibility, appeal, and respect through technological innovation and brand development amid the evolving landscape of globalization.

Liang Yanshun, secretary of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Anhui Provincial People's Congress, said at the summit that Anhui is advancing new quality productive forces through technological innovation and enabling local enterprises to secure a stronger position in global industrial chains. He noted that Anhui will continue to improve its overseas business support system, assist enterprises in expanding their international presence, and make corporate brands a window showcasing the charm and vitality of Anhui and of China.

Chang Bo, president of China International Communications Group (CICG), said that Chinese enterprises should gain global trust and respect through innovation and openness. He proposed three key approaches: first, to empower development through technological innovation and make a technology-driven image the new hallmark of Chinese enterprises abroad; second, to build a new ecosystem of international cooperation based on mutual benefit and shared growth; and third, to deepen cultural exchange and foster mutual learning, so that Chinese enterprises will help present a credible, lovable, and respectable image of China to the world.

Wang Hongyan, vice chairperson of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, said that private enterprises should attach great importance to innovation and social responsibility in their international operations. She noted that companies need to strengthen their credibility through technological competence, demonstrate respectability through responsible action, and enhance their amicable image through cultural integration. The federation, she added, will continue to play a bridging role, helping private enterprises address challenges in global expansion and enhance international recognition of Chinese brands.

In her keynote speech, Jiang Xiaojuan, honorary president of the China Society of Industrial Economics, professor at the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and former deputy secretary-general of the State Council, remarked that the global division of labor is shifting toward a more horizontal pattern. She emphasized that Chinese enterprises should participate in this process with transparency, openness, and cooperation, and strengthen their innovation and resource allocation capabilities to earn recognition and respect through fair competition.

During the summit, organizers announced the results of the 2025 Chinese Enterprise International Image Case Collection program, recognizing 10 outstanding entries each in the photo-and-text and video categories. Five awards were also presented in the areas of green development and ESG practices, technological innovation and international cooperation, cultural integration and value co-creation, shared progress, and cultural exchange and mutual learning among civilizations. The China Science and Technology Micro-Experience Exhibition was also held, showcasing successes of Chinese enterprises going global and their latest technological achievements.

At the three parallel sessions of the summit, experts and business executives shared insights into corporate communication strategies, technological storytelling, and regional brand development.
This year's summit was hosted by CICG and co-organized by China International Publishing Center under CICG and Anhui New Media Group.
Since its inception in 2013, the Chinese Enterprise Global Image Summit has been held annually for 13 consecutive years. It has become a key platform for showcasing Chinese enterprises internationally, enhancing their global image, and promoting exchange, cooperation, and knowledge sharing among businesses.
