CICG president meets Brazilian guest

CICG, November 7, 2025

Chang Bo, president of China International Communications Group (CICG), met with Leonardo Attuch, founder and CEO of Brasil 247, a Brazilian news outlet, in Beijing on Monday.

During the meeting, Chang said that China and Brazil, as the largest developing countries and major emerging markets in their respective hemispheres, share extensive common interests and broad prospects for cooperation. Media and think tanks, he said, serve as crucial bridges for enhancing mutual understanding between people of the two countries and deepening exchanges and cooperation across different fields.

Chang emphasized that CICG highly values its cooperation with Brasil 247, and said he looks forward to working together to deepen institutional collaboration and promote more substantive exchanges. Together, the two sides could foster a more accurate and multidimensional presentation of both countries, and contribute to building a China–Brazil community with a shared future, he said.

Attuch said he admires China's remarkable achievements in development, and he is keenly interested in deepening exchanges and mutual learning with Chinese partners. He said Brasil 247 is ready to expand cooperation with CICG in areas such as joint reporting, content sharing, academic exchanges, book publishing, and distribution-channel development, so as to enhance mutual understanding and present a truthful and multidimensional picture of both countries.
