The event focused on the key themes of the book, particularly the implementation of China's proposals for global development, security, civilization, and governance initiatives, framed within the context of the fourth plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030).

The symposium was attended by senior officials including Yu Tao, vice president of China International Communications Group (CICG), and Chen Runyun, vice president of the Academy for International Business Officials (AIBO) under the Ministry of Commerce.

In their speeches, the participants highlighted how the new volume, published in July, provides an updated perspective on China's development trajectory and future directions. As the first to propose and fully implement the building of a community with a shared future for humanity, China will continue to advance this vision in its 15th Five-Year Plan, bringing stability to an unstable world, they said.

Attendees at the conference agreed that four global initiatives proposed by China align with the shared interests of the international community and serve as key guidance for building a community with a shared future for humanity.

Sheeraz Ahmad of Pakistan Customs Service praised the vision of a community with a shared future for humanity for promoting unity and cooperation and solving global challenges. He said that China's rapid modernization demonstrates its governance capabilities, noted that the 15th Five-Year Plan offers future opportunities, and expressed hope for jointly building a better future based on enhanced trust and mutual respect.

Helio Assa-fay Varela Robalo, president of Cape Verde National News Agency Inforpress, noted China's stable political and social environment ensures effective implementation of its five-year plans. He described China as a global model for sustainable development and public well-being, with its people-centered philosophy and focus on new quality productive forces offering a good example to follow.

Luis Enrique Pérez Pinto, researcher at Peru's Antonio Ruiz de Montoya University, said the 15th Five-Year Plan expands high-level opening up, and creates more opportunities for developing countries.

The event was organized by CICG's Institute of International Studies and Advanced Training (IISAT) and the AIBO.
