In his opening remarks, Yu Yingfu, vice president of China International Communications Group (CICG), called on young people to strengthen exchange and expand consensus, embrace their roles as inheritors of civilization to write a new chapter of mutual appreciation, practitioners of cooperation to draw a new blueprint for shared prosperity, and creators of the future to build a shared home for all.

A following roundtable dialogue featured leaders from various sectors alongside ASEAN students studying in China. Discussions centered on youth-led ecological initiatives under the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals and the shared future of China-ASEAN youth.
ASEAN students from Tsinghua University, UIBE, and Beijing Language and Culture University also presented vibrant cultural performances.
Running through the week, the event includes an international workshop on understanding Chinese modernization, a China-ASEAN future talent dialogue, and a seminar on cross-regional cooperation, and provides hands-on experiences of traditional Chinese culture. Youth leaders will also visit Quzhou in Zhejiang province and join ASEAN-hosted events in Thailand.
The event is co-organized by CICG's Center for International Cultural Communication and UIBE's School of International Education.
