Beijing hosts intl symposium on new quality productive forces
An international symposium on new quality productive forces in the process of modernization was held in Beijing on Friday, drawing over 200 delegates from 37 countries and regions.
Participants, including diplomats, government officials, experts and business representatives, discussed policy implementation and international experience related to the concept.

"The process of developing new quality productive forces involves promoting high-quality development through technological innovation, facilitating harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature through green transformation, and enhancing the quality of life for the public through the sharing of the fruits of development," said Xie Fuzhan, president of the China Foundation for Human Rights Development (CFHRD).
Tian Xueping, deputy secretary-general of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, noted that the development of new quality productive forces in the modernization process is essential for promoting social equity and justice, especially in light of rapid technological progress and the increasing material and cultural needs of the public.
"Arab countries are working to reduce our reliance on traditional energy sources and develop clean energy, while also facing challenges related to rural revitalization and youth employment. New quality productive forces are key to addressing these issues," said Ahmed Mustafa F. Hafez, ambassador of the Arab League to China.
Yu Yingfu, vice president of China International Communications Group (CICG), said that the concept of new quality productive forces addresses the modernization needs of developing countries and contributes to global human rights advancement.
"We will leverage our advantages in multiple languages and platforms to create an international communication matrix centered on the theme of new quality productive forces," Yu added.
A joint initiative,"Developing New Quality Productive Forces Together to Cultivate New Drivers for Economic Growth," was launched at the event.
The symposium was guided by the State Council Information Office and the National Development and Reform Commission. It was co-hosted by CFHRD, the Chinese Academy of Macroeconomic Research, and the Haier Group, and was supported by CICG and the Institute of Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. It was organized by the China International Publishing Center.
