CICG attends 'China In Sight, Global Insight' Forum 2024

The "China In Sight, Global Insight" Forum 2024, with the theme of "Deepening Reform and Opening-up to Create Synergy for Global Development," kicked off on Nov. 19 in Guiyang, southwestern China's Guizhou province.

Addressing the forum, Yu Yunquan, vice president of China International Communications Group (CICG) and president of the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies (ACCWS), stressed the need to promote universally beneficial and inclusive economic globalization, uphold mutual benefit and win-win cooperation, and ensure that the fruits of development are shared by all.

He said CICG and ACCWS stand ready to enhance cooperation with global media and think tanks to explore and study China's concepts and practices of deepening reform and opening-up.

The forum also served as the sixth council meeting of the Belt and Road Think Tank Cooperation Alliance.

During the council meeting, Yu expressed his hope that ACCWS will further promote cooperation between think tanks and media and make greater contributions to advancing high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.

More than 200 people, including government officials and representatives from think tanks, enterprises and media, attended the event.
