The multilingual editions of "Keywords to Understand China: Relics and Cultural Heritage" were unveiled at a parallel forum of the 2024 Beijing Culture Forum on Friday.
Composed of three booklets on the Palace Museum, the National Museum of China, and Dunhuang, the first batch of the books include 220 keywords, introducing China's iconic cultural heritage and highlighting the characteristics of the Chinese people as reflected in historical relics.
As the latest addition to the "Keywords to Understand China" book series on culture and civilization, the booklets showcase China's commitment to preserving cultural heritage and promoting the Global Civilization Initiative.

The "Keywords to Understand China" multilingual book series is a major international communication product jointly created by China International Communication Groups and its two subsidiaries — the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies and the Academy of Translation and Interpretation. Available in 20 languages, the series has been published in over 50 countries around the world.
