Liu welcomed Pedro Vargas David's delegation. He said that CICG has long been dedicated to telling China's stories to the world. Through various languages and mediums, it presents China's rich history, culture, and development to the international community, fostering mutual understanding and trust between the Chinese people and the global audience, he said.

He added that news media play an irreplaceable role in state governance, international relations, and mutual understanding between nations. CICG looks forward to strengthening practical cooperation with Euronews in the areas of media collaboration and international communication, Liu said.

Chen Shi, deputy editor-in-chief of CICG and director of the China Center for International Communication Development, thanked Euronews for supporting the "Image Possibilities" Coproduction Plan, an important video production project organized by the China Center for International Communication Development under CICG.

Pedro Vargas David said that Euronews expects to engage in all-round cooperation with CICG through the second "Image Possibilities" Coproduction Plan.
