The biography describes the city's geography, explores the ancient civilization's past and present, and envisions the city's future development, all while providing readers with a joyful reading experience, Lu said.
Lu said that the "Biographies of Silk Road Cities" series, launched by CICG along with its affiliated New Star Press and Foreign Languages Press, aims to promote global understanding of the Belt and Road Initiative and China in the new era, as well as to foster exchanges among civilizations. More than 60 biographies have been published so far.
