In his speech at the launch ceremony, Liu Dawei, vice president of CICG, said that in the digital media era, youths are telling China's stories through various new media forms such as videos and cartoons. He noted that young people with a global vision and cross-cultural communication skills will bring vitality to China's global communication efforts.
Liu said he hopes that the young competitors will create outstanding works that reflect Chinese characteristics and wisdom, and present a true, multi-dimensional, and panoramic view of China.
This competition, now in its third session, offers special, first, second, and third place awards. Outstanding works will be promoted on major domestic and international media platforms.
