CICG executive attends launch ceremony of Zhejiang International Communication Center

The Zhejiang International Communication Center was launched in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, on May 31. Yu Tao, vice president of China International Communications Group (CICG), delivered a speech at the event.

Yu said that over the past three years, Zhejiang province has enhanced and improved international communication efforts, introduced a series of cultural communication products, and organized numerous people-to-people exchange activities with significant international influence. Yu hopes the Zhejiang International Communication Center will share stories about Zhejiang's deepening reforms, the advancement of Chinese modernization and Chinese civilization, as well as the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. 

CICG is willing to work with the center as well as other similar institutes around China to advance high-quality development of international communication and Chinese modernization, he said. 

During the event, CICG and its affiliated Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies signed strategic framework agreements on international communication with Zhejiang Daily Press Group.
