According to the organizers, an expert panel each year evaluates all participating institutions based on their exhibition content, design of exhibition halls, display effectiveness, and public feedback in the "Wealth of the World" section. The top-performing country or region is awarded the gold prize, or "Stands d'Or," which is the highest recognition at the Foire de Paris.
In 2024, China was the only recipient of this award in the "Wealth of the World" category.

With the theme "From Cultural Classics to a Better Life," the "Souffle d'Orient" exhibition utilized Chinese museum collections to narrate the history of the Chinese nation. It showcased the diversity of Chinese culture through various cultural symbols such as the Central Plains, Hehe Culture, the Yellow River, the Yangtze River, the Greater Bay Area, ethnic cultures, and Chinese dragons. China's various modern achievements were also presented through holographic images as well as cultural and creative products.
The exhibition featured a wide array of items including themed books, bronzeware, porcelain, arts and crafts, and cultural and creative products, totaling over 2,000 pieces of nearly 600 types. It provided a systematic and comprehensive display of Chinese civilization, culture, and image at the Foire de Paris.

Additionally, the exhibition featured various shows and interactive events such as theme day events and traditional Chinese music and tea performances. These activities made "Souffle d'Orient" one of the most popular destinations at the Asian exhibition area and even the entire expo, attracting over 1,000 visitors every day.
Founded in 1904, the Foire de Paris is one of the world's most prestigious and comprehensive exhibitions, serving as a platform for showcasing national images and promoting global cultures.
This year, the 12-day event attracted over 3,000 exhibitors from more than 100 countries and regions.
