CICG launches book on learning Azerbaijani
A new book on learning Azerbaijani was launched in Beijing on Friday. The book is published by Foreign Languages Press under China International Communications Group (CICG).
Over 80 participants from government agencies, educational institutes, and publishing organizations attended the launch ceremony.

Chen Shi, deputy editor-in-chief of CICG, delivered a speech at the event. She said that the publication of the book stands as a vivid example of CICG's endeavors in fostering cultural exchange between China and Azerbaijan.
Chen also said CICG is ready to harness its distinct strengths of diverse media platforms to enhance collaboration with various sectors in Azerbaijan, including publishing, culture and tourism, and think tanks. This would enable CICG to play an even more significant role in advancing people-to-people exchanges along the Belt and Road, she added.

Bunyad Huseynov, the ambassador of Azerbaijan to China, emphasized that cultural exchange between the people of both countries is a significant aspect of the bilateral relationship.
Huseynov further noted that the newly released book will contribute to promoting the Azerbaijani language and fostering friendship between the people of China and Azerbaijan.
The author of the book, Irana Aliyeva, introduced the book at the event, highlighting how readers could enhance their language skills and deepen their understanding of Azerbaijani culture and history through the book.

The event was jointly hosted by Foreign Languages Press and the Embassy of Azerbaijan in China.
