CICG partners with Jiangxi to boost global communication

Jiangxi International Communication Center was officially inaugurated on Sunday in Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi province. Chen Shi, deputy editor-in-chief of China International Communications Group (CICG), attended and delivered a speech at the launch ceremony.

Chen said that international communication centers across various regions have played a pivotal role in telling China's story to the world by harnessing a vast body of communication resources with local characteristics. Jiangxi, with its ecological environment, cultural tourism, ceramics, and traditional Chinese medicine, stands out as a shining example. CICG is committed to leveraging its comprehensive international communication advantages to foster pragmatic cooperation and introduce the world to a renewed Jiangxi.

The center is poised to develop into a comprehensive international communication platform, characterized by distinctive content production, broad-reaching brand initiatives, streamlined operational mechanisms, technology empowerment and diverse professional talent pool.
During the ceremony, a strategic cooperation framework agreement on international communication was signed between CICG subsidiary Xufang International Media and Jiangxi Daily. This agreement aims to enhance the strategic cooperation between CICG and the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Jiangxi Provincial Committee, and bolster the construction of Jiangxi International Communication Center.
