CICG delegation visits Argentina to enhance cooperation

A delegation from China International Communications Groups (CICG) visited Buenos Aires, Argentina, from April 12 to 15 to promote publication cooperation and business connections.

The CICG delegation paid a visit to the Argentine Chamber of Books. CICG Vice President Yu Tao spoke highly of the organization's dedication to China-themed publications and its cooperation with publishers under CICG.

Yu said CICG is committed to fostering global connections through books and that it aims to enhance people-to-people exchange and mutual learning between China and Argentina, as well as the rest of Latin America, through Spanish language publications.

Yu proposed that both parties deepen collaboration by leveraging government-supported programs and establishing new cooperation mechanisms.

In addition, the delegation visited the Chinese Embassy in Argentina. During his meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Argentina Wang Wei, Yu introduced CICG's efforts in international communication and exchanged ideas with Wang about effectively conducting international communication, especially in Argentina.

The delegates also met with the China program manager at the National University of LanĂºs, a team led by former Argentine Ambassador to China Sabino Vaca Narvaja, and industry peers in Argentina.
