The CICG delegation visited the Library of the National Congress of Chile on April 10, and donated a selection of books published by CICG in Spanish. In his speech at the donation ceremony, Yu said that these books would help Chilean readers better understand China's civilization and profound culture, as well as its rapid development. He also said that he hoped both sides would strengthen people-to-people exchanges and mutual learning through books.

The delegation also paid a visit to the Chinese Embassy in Chile, where they met with Political Counselor Ma Zhen to exchange views on how to more effectively carry out international communication, especially in Chile.
