CICG attends 2024 Bologna Children's Book Fair

China International Communications Group (CICG) attended the 2024 Bologna Children's Book Fair, which was held in Bologna, Italy, from April 8 to 11. CICG brought to the fair hundreds of children's books with authentic Chinese cultural elements.

The Dolphin Books under CICG hosted a promotional event for the book "Breathe" during the event. Liu Dawei, vice president of CICG, delivered a speech via video link.

Liu said that an increasing number of young Chinese writers are producing works with a global perspective and high standards and providing children of other countries with captivating reading experiences infused with the charm of the East.

Throughout the exhibition, the CICG booth welcomed partners from countries such as the U.S., the U.K., Russia, Japan, and India, leading to many agreements on various fronts, including the international distribution of original Chinese children's literature, picture books, and children's educational publications.

The Bologna Children's Book Fair is one of the largest and most prestigious events in the world dedicated to children's literature, serving as a platform for professionals from the industry to display their latest creations, forge rights agreements, and connect with industry peers.
