CICG attends Minsk International Book Fair

China International Communications Group (CICG) attended the 31st Minsk International Book Fair, which ran from March 14 to 17.

Publishing houses under CICG and other Chinese publishers brought over 1,600 publications in 14 languages to the event. 

These books cover various fields, such as Chinese culture, Chinese language teaching, and children's books. Among them, around 50% of the books are in Russian, while English books make up about 45%. Key publications at the exhibition featured the English edition of the first two volumes of "Selected Readings from the Works of Xi Jinping," "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" (Volumes I-IV), and other China-themed books.

During his visit to CICG's exhibition booth, Chinese Ambassador to Belarus Xie Xiaoyong noted that the book fair serves as a platform for advancing cultural exchange between different countries. He added that CICG's efforts have injected new vitality into the friendly relations between China and Belarus.

Vladimir Pertsov, minister of information of the Republic of Belarus, said that the Belarusian people love Chinese history and culture, and take an interest in China's progress. He expressed his delight in seeing the engagement of young people in experiencing Chinese culture at the fair.
