Harbin City Image Exhibition launched in Beijing

The Harbin City Image Exhibition themed with "City of Ice, City of Charm" was launched in Beijing Books Building on Tuesday, aiming to demonstrate Harbin's ice and snow culture to the world. 

More than 80 guests from China International Communications Group (CICG), Harbin government officials, and international students from Beijing Foreign Studies University and Beijing International Studies University attended the launch event.

Chen Shi, director of the China Center for International Communication Development (CCICD) under CICG, said that CICG is dedicated to improving global presence of Chinese culture and promoting cultural exchange and mutual learning. By leveraging its advantages in international communication, CCICD works closely with various regions around China to promote Chinese culture worldwide, she noted.

The exhibition gives a full demonstration of Harbin's ice and snow culture and unique charm, helping to promote China's ice and snow culture internationally and improve the global presence of Chinese culture, Chen said. 

The exhibition, taking place through March 2, is organized by CCICD and the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Harbin Municipal Committee.
