CICG to attend 36th Beijing Book Fair

China International Communications Group (CICG) will attend the 36th Beijing Book Fair to be held at the China International Exhibition Center in the city's Chaoyang district from Jan. 11 to 13.

Seven publishing houses under CICG will bring to the event more than 2,100 books, including books by China's leaders, teaching materials, classic literature, and children's books.

Several book launches and book sharing events will be held during the fair, including new French and English volumes of the "Our Life in China" series from the New World Press and the 60th volume of the "All About History" series from China Pictorial Press. 

Dolphin Books will host an immersive Peking Opera experience event on Jan. 11, and give participants a chance to enjoy live performances, learn about the history of Chinese operas, and experience the Chinese national treasure firsthand. Attendees can try on exquisite opera costumes and props, and learn about the stylized movements and poses of Peking Opera.

In addition, a "Monkey King" fan meet-up event will be held on Jan. 13, featuring sports games and trivia, accompanied by an array of game prizes. The event will offer fans an engaging way to experience the charm of the "Monkey King" series through interactive activities.
