CICG launches cooperation base in Shanghai for cultural exchange
A ceremony was held at Shanghai University on Friday to mark the establishment of the Cooperation Base of Innovation on Cultural Communication (Shanghai Center) and the launch of the 2024 Global Conference for Reciting Chinese Poetry. The event was attended by representatives from China International Communications Group (CICG) and Shanghai University, as well as scholars, teachers, and students.

CICG Vice President Lu Cairong addressed the ceremony and highlighted the role of science and technology in promoting cultural communication. He expressed his hope that the base would serve as a bridge for connecting people from different cultures.

The base is a joint initiative of CICG and Shanghai University, aiming to build a platform for promoting Chinese culture to the world.
