World Youth Energy Tour launched in Beijing

A youth tour initiative was launched Thursday in Beijing, gathering 16 young participants from 12 countries to experience the development of China's energy sector.

Co-hosted by China International Communications Group (CICG) and CHN Energy, the tour offered participants the chance to visit several energy companies under CHN Energy, allowing them to observe firsthand the cutting-edge, eco-friendly technologies and practices employed by the company and its subsidiaries.

At the launch ceremony of the tour, CICG Vice President Yu Tao highlighted China's role in bolstering global energy security, combating climate change, and fostering global economic growth. He hoped that the tour would deepen the young participants' understanding of China's contributions and progress in addressing global energy challenges.

Wang Min, director and vice secretary of the Leading Party Members Group of CHN Energy, stressed the importance and urgency of international energy cooperation, especially with the emergence of new energy technologies. He hoped the tour would help foster friendships among the participants and spark youthful vigor for the cooperation of the global energy sector.
