CICG executive attends forum on education cooperation and cultural exchange

The 2023 International Education Cooperation and Cultural Exchanges Forum was held Wednesday in Ningbo city, Zhejiang province. Lu Cairong, vice president of China International Communications Group (CICG), delivered a keynote speech at the forum.

Lu said that deepening international education cooperation and cultural exchange is integral to China's educational development, and plays a significant role in promoting international communication, enhancing people-to-people exchange, and facilitating mutual learning among civilizations.

To deepen and expand such cooperation, he called for efforts to promote international Chinese language education, collaborate with Confucius Institutes, universities, think tanks, and research institutes, and build platforms for international exchange. 

The event was hosted by the People's Daily Overseas Edition.
