CICG executive attends International Forum on 'Dialogue Between China and the World'

The second International Forum on "Dialogue Between China and the World" was held Thursday at Renmin University of China in Beijing. Yu Tao, vice president of China International Communications Group (CICG), addressed the event.

In his speech, Yu emphasized the need to enhance dialogue between civilizations, deepen research into various development paradigms, and promote innovative discourse. This would enable different civilizations to learn from each other's development experience and best practices, facilitating their modernization processes, he said.

With the theme "International Perspectives on Chinese Modernization," the forum included an opening ceremony, thematic speeches, and roundtable discussions. Experts from countries such as the U.S., Brazil, the U.K., Russia, and Italy participated in discussions covering topics like Chinese modernization in the context of human civilizations, comparative analysis of Chinese modernization and western modernization, and the role of the Communist Party of China in China's modernization drive.
