CICG attends 2023 Frankfurt Book Fair

China International Communications Group (CICG) attended the 2023 Frankfurt Book Fair from Oct. 18 to 22 in Frankfurt, Germany.

During the book fair, CICG displayed a total of 1,071 publications in 19 languages, covering Chinese culture, Chinese literature, Chinese language teaching, traditional Chinese medicine, and children's books. Among the books were CICG's signature book series including "Understanding China," "Keywords to Understand China," and "Biographies of Silk Road Cities."

In addition, CICG hosted a range of signing ceremonies on international publication cooperation and copyright cooperation.

CICG's Foreign Languages Press and Lebanese publishing company Digital Future signed a publication cooperation agreement for the book "Path of Hope: The Global Impact of the Belt and Road Initiative" on Oct. 20. The book gives detailed introductions of flagship projects in Belt and Road partner countries, and includes in-depth dialogues with scholars on trending topics about the development of the Belt and Road Initiative.

CICG also released a series of new books on the same day, including multilingual versions of books on Chinese modernization and global governance, the Chinese and English versions of the photography book "Impressions of China: Chinese People," and the English versions of "China Today" series.
