CICG executive attends Nanjing Peace Forum

The 2023 Nanjing Peace Forum was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, from Tuesday to Wednesday, bringing together nearly 100 representatives from government departments, international organizations, research institutes, business circles, and non-governmental organizations.

During his address, Yu underscored the growing importance of multilateralism in today's rapidly changing world. He called upon all stakeholders to embrace multilateralism, foster respect for cultural diversity, promote exchange and mutual learning among civilizations, and empower young people to contribute to global peace by establishing platforms for exchange and dialogue.

Yu said CICG is dedicated to international communication and vows to collaborate with all partners to deepen cooperation, enhance mutual understanding, and promote win-win results.

During the two-day event, Yu attended a youth dialogue commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative. The dialogue was organized by the CICG Center for Europe and Asia. He also participated in the 2023 "Touch Nanjing" event hosted by the Center for International Cultural Communication under CICG. In addition, Yu joined a research trip in Nanjing focused on effective communication targeting Generation Z.

At the closing ceremony of the Nanjing Peace Forum, the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies under CICG released research findings on the security outlook of youths of countries along the Belt and Road route.
