CICG president meets with Panamanian, Venezuelan ambassadors to China

Du Zhanyuan, president of China International Communications Group (CICG), met with Panamanian Ambassador to China Leonardo Alfonso Kam Binns and Venezuelan Ambassador to China Giuseppe Yoffreda in Beijing on Monday.

Du introduced CICG's achievements in areas such as cultural exchange with Latin America. Du said CICG attaches great importance to cooperation with Latin America, and that the two sides have been expanding cooperation in publishing, media, think tanks, and translation. He also expressed his hope that the two sides could continue to advance cultural and people-to-people exchange. 

The two ambassadors praised CICG's role in promoting cultural exchange between China and Latin America and expressed willingness to deepen cooperation with CICG in various fields.

Lu Cairong, vice president of CICG, and representatives from the Department of International Cooperation of CICG and the New Star Press were also present at the meeting.
