CICG attends 29th BIBF

The 29th Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) opened at the China National Convention Center on Thursday. With its diverse portfolio of books and lineup of events, China International Communications Group (CICG) aims to offer a rich experience to visitors during the renowned book fair.

During the four-day event, eight organizations under CICG will showcase nearly 3,500 books in more than 30 languages. The wide range of offerings, with 64% published in foreign languages, include China-themed publications, textbooks, classic literature, and children's books.

Several signing ceremonies were held on Thursday to facilitate collaborations between CICG's affiliated agencies and their partners in book trading, joint publishing, and copyright cooperation.

The book fair will also witness the launch of several highly anticipated books published by CICG affiliates, including the multilingual versions of the "Keywords to Understand China" series and the Arabic edition of the "Monkey King" series.

Established in 1986, the BIBF has become the world's second-largest book fair, attracting industry representatives and cultural enterprises from around the globe. This year's event will showcase more than 200,000 Chinese and foreign books from 2,500 exhibitors, representing 56 countries and regions.
