CICG co-hosts training program for international communication

A training program organized by China International Communications Group (CICG) and the Central Institute of Socialism opened in Beijing on Monday, aiming to nurture young professionals for communication between China and the rest of the world.

Approximately 60 people participated in the opening ceremony, including those from CICG and its relevant departments and subsidiaries, as well as members of the international communication sector.

As part of the strategic partnership framework between CICG and the Central Institute of Socialism, the training program aims to leverage the respective advantages of the two sides in cultivating high-caliber talent and promote cultural communication, said Liu Dawei, vice president of CICG. 

Liu encouraged the participants to strengthen their theoretical knowledge, adopt a problem-oriented approach, value the opportunity of learning in class, and engage in mutual learning through interactions and exchanges.

Xu Shaogang, a member of the Leading Party Members Group and academic dean of the Central Institute of Socialism, said he hopes the two sides can further share their resources and channels in order to nurture more high-caliber professionals in international communication and better present China and Chinese culture to the world.

Themed on building international communication capacity in the new era and enhancing the influence of Chinese civilization, the program will employ various teaching methods such as lectures and thematic discussions to improve the participants' theoretical knowledge and comprehensive abilities, according to the organizers.
