CICG attends London Book Fair 2023

China International Communications Group (CICG) attended the London Book Fair 2023, which took place from Tuesday to Thursday.

CICG's exhibition featured a "Reading China" theme this year. Four publishing houses under CICG, namely China International Book Trading Corporation, Foreign Languages Press, Sinolingua Press, and New Star Press brought 888 publications to the event, with more than 90% being English or bilingual books in Chinese and English. These books cover various fields, such as Chinese culture, Chinese literature, Chinese language teaching, traditional Chinese medicine and health care, and children's books.

Foreign Languages Press held two signing ceremonies for cooperation in the international publishing of China-themed books during the book fair, including the publication of the book "An Open China: Creating a New Dynamic in the New Era."

Lu Cairong, vice president of CICG, said at the signing ceremonies that China-themed books provide a window for the world to gain a better understanding of an open China and help to deepen people-to-people exchange.
