2nd Beijing International Youth Forum held in Beijing
The 2nd International Youth Forum, themed "Youth for a Better Future," was held in Beijing on Wednesday. The event was co-hosted by the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies under China International Communications Group (CICG) and the Information Office of Beijing Municipal People's Government.
During the keynote speeches, speakers from various countries shared their hopes for young people around the world to champion cross-cultural exchange, foster mutual learning, support global development, and build a community with a shared future for mankind.

Gao Anming, vice president of CICG, said the forum aimed to empower young people to contribute to social development and international exchange. He encouraged them to work toward economic globalization, protect the multilateral trade system, and contribute to the establishment of a united, equal, balanced and inclusive global development partnership.

During the "International Youth Roundtable" event, participants from countries including China, Brazil, Cameroon, Hungary, the Netherlands, and Belarus discussed how young people can serve as effective communicators between China and other countries.
International youth representatives also applauded China's pursuit of modernization, noting its global significance and the inspiration it provides for an increasing number of countries to develop based on their own national conditions.

Xu Hejian, director of the Information Office of Beijing Municipal People's Government, highlighted in his speech Beijing's role as the capital and its advantages in providing opportunities to young talents worldwide. He encouraged young people to seize new opportunities from China's growth, promote friendly exchange between China and other countries, and pursue their dreams in Beijing with an enterprising spirit.
