CICG president meets Azerbaijani ambassador to China

Du Zhanyuan, president of China International Communications Group (CICG), held a meeting with Akram Zeynalli, Azerbaijani ambassador to China, and his delegation in Beijing on Friday. Representatives from Foreign Languages Press and the Department of International Cooperation of CICG were also present.

Du extended a warm welcome to Zeynalli and his delegation and expressed his gratitude to the Azerbaijani Embassy for its support of CICG. Du introduced CICG's efforts in publishing, media communication, think tank research, and cultural exchange, among other work. He emphasized the importance of cooperation with Azerbaijan and expressed his hope that the two sides could work together to promote the translation and publishing of important works, as well as to expand pragmatic cooperation in think tanks, media, and cultural exchange.

Zeynalli expressed his appreciation for CICG's efforts in promoting friendly relations and cultural exchange between the two countries. He highlighted Azerbaijan's interest in expanding cooperation with China in various fields and said he hopes to strengthen cooperation with CICG in publishing and cultural exchange.

Following the meeting, Foreign Languages Press and Zeynalli held a discussion on the cooperation in publishing projects.
