10th Chinese Enterprise Global Image Summit held in Beijing

The 10th Chinese Enterprise Global Image Summit was held in Beijing on Tuesday, with the theme "Promote Global Development Together." The event brought together nearly 100 guests, including officials, representatives of well-known enterprises, think tank experts, and reporters.

At the summit, Du Zhanyuan, president of China International Communications Group (CICG), pointed out that enterprises are an important contributor to global development. He said that Chinese enterprises are going overseas in multiple ways, which not only helps themselves achieve high-quality development, but also contributes to fostering a new development paradigm, and boosting global economic recovery and people-to-people exchanges.

Du also called on Chinese enterprises to seize strategic opportunities, pursue high-level opening up, and fulfill their social responsibilities, to present a credible, loveable, and respectable image of China to the world.

The selection results for China's best corporate practices in shaping their global images in 2022 and a global survey report on the image of Chinese companies were also released at the summit.

This year's summit also invited five representatives of Chinese enterprises to deliver keynote speeches on jointly building a community with a shared future and improving the international presence of Chinese companies.

During the summit, CICG signed strategic cooperation agreements with China Huadian Corporation, China State Construction Engineering Corporation, and China Communications Construction Company Limited.  

Established in 2013, the Chinese Enterprise Global Image Summit has been held for 10 consecutive years and aims to improve Chinese companies' brands and their international standing and to support the creation of China's world-class enterprises. 

CICG hosted the summit under the guidance of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.
