Exhibition and dialogue on ceramic art kicks off in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi

A ceramic art exhibition and dialogue was held in Jingdezhen, eastern China's Jiangxi province, on Wednesday.

Lu Cairong, vice president of China International Communications Group (CICG), said during the event that Jingdezhen has been well known for producing porcelain, and the gathering of artists from home and abroad is a tribute to the history of ceramic cultural exchange.

As a comprehensive agency of international communication, CICG has been dedicated to promoting exchange among civilizations and raising the profile of Chinese culture. The group will continue to work with the artists and fully demonstrate the beauty of ceramic arts to promote cultural diversity around the world, he said.

Over 100 Chinese and foreign representatives from the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, diplomatic missions in China, and the field of ceramic arts attended the event.
